EMMI is a chaplaincy started in 2010 in Canada and we shares the message of Christ’s love with people throughout the world using two paths:
the Christian Unitarian and the Catholic Universalist (We are not Unitarian Universalist). We need volunteers to renders our faith accessible to the
communities in Brazil by creating new traditions of knowledge sharing, spiritual growth, prayers and worship opportunities that touch people and
lead them to experience Christ’s saving grace in a liberal and progressive ways. We need Ministers, Chaplains, Elders, Stewardship, Ushers, prayer partners,
etc. Training will be provided to the right candidates.

General Symposium

The General Symposium is the governing body of the Eric Michel Ministries International. The Symposium is a connextion legislature that includes
the Board of Elders and the House of Bishops. The Symposium meets every year and has the authority to amend the Constitution and Canons of
the Eric Michel Ministries International; adopt the budget for the chaplaincy for the next year; authorize liturgical texts; adopt communions and
covenants with other churches; set qualifications for orders of ministry and office-holders; elect officers of the General Symposium, the Executive
Council, and members of boards; and delegate responsibilities to the committees, commissions, agencies, and boards of the EMMI Chaplaincies.

Executive Council (House of Bishops)

The Executive Council of the EMMI Chaplaincy is an elected body representing the whole church. In the year between General Symposiums, the
Executive Council meets quarterly. The Executive Council has the duty to carry out programs and policies adopted by General Convention and to
oversee the ministry and mission.
  • The Brazil Unitarian Chaplaincy is in full communion with Eric Michel Ministries International as an integral portion of the Body of Christ      
    composed of Chaplaincies, holding Multi Progressive Christian Faiths, as defined in our Canon Laws and Bylaws; teaching the same                   
    Word of God  through our Sacraments, through our Ministries and by the Holy Spirit who given them to guide us into the truth.
  • By it's constitution each local Chaplaincy Board of Elders is responsible for all country, state and local laws and bylaws, and having                        
    the chaplaincy as a local entity as a Non-Profit Religious Entity
  • Base on EMMI bylaws, each local chaplaincy board of elders is independent regarding any point of his administration.
The partnership is for those who have been baptized and made confession of faith in Jesus Christ and wish to unite fully with our organisation.
Partnership in congregations of Eric Michel Ministries International comes with different labels.

Affiliate members are professing members of another Church or Christian Non-Profit organization who may be wish to connect with the life,
ministry, and watch-care of a fellowship.  as a person they have been baptized by water in the name of  the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit in
another Christian denomination.

Our Members Presently are
Baptist, Evengelic, Catholic Universalist, Pentrcostal, United Methodist, Christian Unitarian

Affiliate or associate members. In Baptismal Covenant include in your formulation

"I present Name(s) who come to this fellowship as associate partner from ____ Church."
"I present Name(s) who come to this fellowship as affiliate partner from ____ Church."

People who are seeking to become partner must affirmed the faith of Eric Michel Ministries International.

We suggest that all people who are being received as affiliate members, or associate members participate
as follow:

"As baptized Christians from ____ (Church) and partner of Eric Michel Ministries International"

The decision to join our organisation is a very important one. We respect the importance of that decision and want to be helpful, but not
coercive. We would be delighted to welcome you into our partnership as a member. We trust that God's Spirit will guide you to relate in
whatever way is right for you at this time.
Although other differences of beliefs, doctrine, interpretation, and opinion may be held and expressed by various members, these are to be  
held and expressed in love and fellowship with those who may differ.
